Ingredients Citrus Basil Green Beans

  • 1 cup of green beans, trimmed and cut in 1 inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
    Dash of red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/8 cup fresh basil
  • ½ lemon, juiced

Directions

  1. Boil the green beans in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat a medium skillet. Add the olive oil and let it heat up for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the green beans and seasonings. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice and serve.
