Clinical Application for Food as Medicine

Clinical Application for Food as Medicine

Sponsored by the Peanut Institute

The purpose of this webinar is to promote clinical applications for prescribing proper nutrition to prevent and manage diabetes and other chronic conditions. The impact of food in reducing the risk for diabetes is not a new subject, it is however, one that has until recently not been implemented by the U.S. medical community. Although many patients are convinced of the importance of food in both preventing and managing symptoms of disease, many do not know how to incorporate this into their daily diets.

This webinar will serve to provide recent research findings to support how effective certain foods like peanuts and peanut butter are in preventing and treating diabetes.
