Stress Management: A Pillar of Lifestyle Medicine and Chronic Disease Management

Stress Management: A Pillar of Lifestyle Medicine and Chronic Disease Management

One of the seven health behaviors under the Association for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) accreditation is Healthy Coping.  Therefore, it is important to ensure we are discussing stress with our patients with diabetes, including healthy ways to cope with it.  The goal of this webinar is to discuss stress, what it does to the body, how it may be contributing to cardiometabolic outcomes and ultimately what stress management techniques are supported by research that we can share with our patients.
