Pavlova
Ingredients

6 egg whites
-
dash of salt
-
1 tsp cream of tartar
-
1 2/3 cup sugar

2 Tbsp cornstarch
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1-2 Tbsp powdered sugar
- Summer fruits of choice (such as, peaches, raspberry, strawberries, blackberries)
Directions
Make Pavlova
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees
- Make meringue, by whipping 6 egg whites with dash of salt until foamy
- Then add, 1 tsp cream of tartar and 1 2/3 cup sugar, 2 Tbsp cornstarch and beat until stiff, shiny peaks form.
- Line baking sheets with parchment and shape meringue into 3 equal circles.
- Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes
Make a whipped cream to spread in between layers and on top of pavlova
- Whip 1 cup heavy cream with 1-2 Tbsp powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Top with your favorite summer fruits! I used blackberries, raspberries, peaches and lemon thyme sprigs.
